Telethon 2022: Luxury home available for sale to ensure a better life for children

Telethon 2022
Since 1968, the Channel Seven Perth Telethon (also known as just Telethon) is held in Western Australia every year. The Telethon is a 26-hour live event broadcasted on Channel 7, usually on a weekend in October, and has been raising money for children in need for the past 55 years. Telethon 2022 in Perth CBD will run from Saturday 22nd October to Sunday 23rd October 2022.
100% of the proceeds raised through Telethon are donated to different charity beneficiaries that all have the same goal: to support sick children and improve their health and wellbeing. Telethon has become a significant event in WA as more than $400 million have been raised since 1968. In 2021, Telethon raised a record-breaking $62 Million! The funds make it possible to provide equipment for children in hospital, critical services for children with disabilities and life-changing opportunities for disadvantaged children.
The event also attracts celebrities, which highlights the importance and popularity of Telethon: Australian stars from Seven Network shows participate in the broadcast to help fundraise money and even international celebrities like Celine Dion, Elton John, and Michael Jackson have travelled to Western Australia to be part of Telethon.
Along with monetary donations, businesses donate different goods and services. For example, the 2022 Telethon Home is currently available for sale.
The 2022 Telethon Home
Every year a home builder in WA generously donates a house that is available for auction. The 2022 Telethon Home was designed and built by Home Group in Satterly’s new Seaside estate in Madora Bay.
The 2022 Telethon Home is a stunning and brand-new home that features four bedrooms and two bathrooms and is located in coastal Madora Bay, only 7km north of Mandurah and 60km from Perth CBD. The home is now open for inspection and available for sale. Details of the sale will be revealed during the Telethon Weekend 2022 (22nd October and 23rd October) as 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Telethon 2022.
